Question by …..: Best ONLINE college/university to obtain a BS in Business Admin?
I lived in Germany for a few years and, because that was pretty much my only option, I attended Univ. of Phoenix online and received my Assoc. degree in IT Visual Communications — which was a COMPLETE joke! I want to go back to school to get my BS in Business Admin; however, I have two small children at home and it is not feasible at this time to attend a traditional college/university. Considering my experience with UOP and my “degree” being pretty much worthless, I was wondering if anyone knows of some GOOD online colleges out there.

Consider the following public (non-profit) online schools:
Athabasca U
Excelsior College
Western Governors U
The “best” is a relative term but there are some online BSBA programs from some pretty well thought of traditional schools wholly online out there.
Cornell and UC Berkeley teach business online but not whole degrees – some useful certificate programs though. Those are certainly among “the best”.

Everyone and his brother teaches online these days. The most common two majors are education and business. Your local state U probably has a BA/BS in Business online too. You have plenty of options that don’t have to include those “as seen on TV” colleges.
