Question by Maria: Bachelors in accounting or Business administration?
I ‘m plainning on changing my major but i wanted opinions on what could be done with these two degrees. Thanks.

With business administration, you will probably need more than a bachelors to get a DECENT job in that field. You will at least need a masters. Make sure you do internships for work experience as well.
As for accounting, I think you can get jobs just with the bachelors and don’t need a masters. But still, work experience is a must.

With accounting, you’ll have a defined field to go into. If your GPA is high enough, the Big Four CPA firms will be interested in you. There is always a need for people to “count the beans.”
Business administration could be tougher, depending on whether or not the degree has a specific concentration. If you have a great GPA or are especially talented/innovative, you’ll be fine. I’ve had friends who took general business degrees and didn’t find much satisfaction working for insurance companies, as management trainees in retail or at rental car agencies.
It all depends upon what you want to do; accounting offers more security, but business administration is broader and could lead you on surprising paths. It’s riskier, though.
