B. E. Smith today announced Teresa Collins has joined the firm as vice president, executive search. With 27 years of experience in healthcare as a clinician and more than 16 years of executive leadership experience, Collins will assume her new duties at B. E. Smith immediately.

Prior to joining Truman Medical Centers, Collins achieved a track record of leadership success in the for-profit sector with HCA.
Collins earned a masterâs of business administration from the University of Phoenix in Kansas City and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Webster University in Saint Louis, Missouri. She is a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NEA-BC). Collins is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and Kansas City Nurse Executives.
