Question by Arenkay: Are people who speak Spanish, English, Japanese, and Chinese in high demand in the business world?
Is a person with an MBA with an international emphasis and the ability to speak English, Japanese, Spanish, and Chinese and knowledge of the cultures that speak those languages very valuable in today’s economy? How about in the next 5 years or so hypothetically?

Well it all depends on where do you go looking for work, just to give you a quick example, in the company I work for, there was a position available and someone with similar characteristics applied for it (spoke 5 languages fluently), but on the other hand not much experience on the job (only had 1 previous job where the emphasis was on the languages) and our company only deals with local clients, in the US, in the same state and most of them the same city, so really her “talent” was not a fit for us.
And in our company most of us speak at least 2 languages but other than being great when we have social outings, its not really a plus when it comes to our work here.
