Question by Amanda: Accounting Majors- BBA vs. BS?
I am currently an Accounting major. I am expecting to get my BBA but recently my school has stopped offering the BBA program and just stuck with the BS. I can still get it, but have talked to a few professors and they have said that BBA doesn’t provide the added benefit as it used to (it helped prepare for the CPA exam.) My dad (who is an Accountant) had said that when looking to hire the BBA looks more impressive. Can anyone give me any insight on if I should switch to BS or not?

(1)BBA= bachelor’s in business admin? or
(2)BBA=business bachelor’s in arts?
(3)BS = bachelor’s in science?
If (2) is correct, than (3) is better.
But either way they don’t make that much difference.
Employers don’t look whether you got a BS or BA. They just want to know whether you got a bachelors period.
Actually I’ve just got my bachelor’s last year in accounting. It sucks. Can’t get a job without experience. I’ve sent 100 resumes but not a single response.
I should have gotten an intern job while at school which I didn’t.
